From one Single Vineyard from Saint Andelain comes Didier Dagueneau's flagship and cult wine - the Buisson Renard. The grapes from this small grandcru vineyard are harvested manually and the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Crisp, full, deep, complex with flint strewn is a summary of the Dagueneau Blanc Fume de Pouilly Buisson Renard, but this still does not sell the wine short. The wine smells of peppermint and cassis, with a hint of bitterness. In the mouth there are kiwi, pineapple and nectarine, leading to a lusciously juicy finish. This exceptional pouilly fumé naturally has the unique minerality that makes Dagueneau wine so unique and sought after.
