Description
Chateau Lagrange has released a mix case with 3 vintages (2016-2019-2020) called the La Collection Parcellaire Les Hauts Bois. This luxury case contains 6 bottles with 3 vintages from the best terroir. La Collection Parcellaire (The Single Plot Collection) is offered in an exclusive limited edition of which only 250 individually numbered cases were produced. This unique presentation consists of six bottles : Château Lagrange 2016, Château Lagrange 2019 and Château Lagrange 2020, and three bottles of our cuvée “Les Hauts Bois” in the same vintages. The cabinet's decor represents the cartography of the Château Lagrange vineyard and follows the exact contours and topography of plot No. 89, giving it a unique design and sense of place. Descriptions of each wine and year are engraved on the inside. This case is responsibly designed and made from solid pine wood from sustainably managed forests in the region. It is locally manufactured by a Living Heritage Company (certified EPV) and printed with eco-friendly water-based inks. Only 250 suitcases were produced
This is a truly unique case for the wine lover and collector, as only 250 copies were made. This great case is intended for loyal connoisseurs of Lagrange, who appreciate the remarkable subtlety and powerful structure of this long-lived wine.
Château Lagrange is one of the most prominent Grand Cru Classé wineries from Saint-Julien. Located entirely within the Saint-Julien appellation, the vineyard extends in a single block over two north-south rises of Gunzian gravel soil. In parts large and coarse and in others finer, this gravel is combined with sand or iron-rich clay, depending on the plot. With a height of 24 meters, the center of the domain marks the highest point of Saint-Julien. The estate covers 182 hectares (450 acres), of which 118 hectares (292 acres) are under vines.

The Japanese group, Suntory, acquired the domain in 1983. Marcel Ducasse was then recruited together with Kenji Suzuta to carry out the complete restructuring of the vineyard and a spectacular renovation of the entire estate. This first step was to mark the rebirth of Chateau Lagrange. After twenty years of dedicated work, as well as human and technical investments, Lagrange is once again one of the top Grand Cru Classé , focusing over the last twenty years on the production of refined, elegant and expressive wines, in the best Saint-Julien style but also with production methods that substantially reduce the ecological impact.

Most plots have a drainage system.
