Sota els Angels

Sota Els Angels is one of the most exciting new projects in Emporda, with one white and two red wines produced by the daughter of the late Jesus Polanco (one of Spain's media magnates) and her husband, with technical advice from Fredi Torres from the Priorat. A unique winery with very fine wines that operates completely organically to the point of fanaticism. Small-scale, sparse and very beautiful.

SILENCE AND SIMPLICITY

The integrated architecture of the winery facilitates the production and development and of our organic wines. Natural cooling of the bodega`s temperature and its well designed gradients, enables us to work using gravity. From the freshly harvested grapes arrival on the highest floor, down to the mid-level deposits and finally downwards to the settling-in in the barrel room, where the wine is laid to rest, until bottling.
