Beau Constantia

The Winery Beau Constantia is located on the hills of the Constantia Nek mountain pass, overlooking False Bay. What makes Constantia special is the proximity to the sea, even though it is a mountainous site. The vine benefit from the fresh sea breeze along with the altitude. The very steep slopes of the vineyards and long ripening period create extremely concentrated wines. This combination creates wine with a strong sense of character.

Megan van der Merwe is the youngest winemaker in the Constantia Valley. In addition to being a talented winemaker, her true passion is nature and conservation. For this reason, Megan believes that as little as possible should interfere in the processes that take place from the vine to the wine.
