Is it possible for a photo to not accurately represent the year of the wine in question?

Yes. We always attempt to make our photos represent the wines as accurately as possible. We have an assortment of over 1000 wines of which many have different years. We strive to get the photos of the newest years when we can however quite often it occurs that wineries do not update the photos themselves either because the labels tend not to change apart from the year. In any case the wine presented on the photo may in some cases be a different year but this does not mean you will receive the wine from the photo. You will always get what you order.
