Description
Blanc de blancs literally means 'white of white'. This is a white champagne made exclusively from chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. This beautiful Blanc de Blancs from Champagne Ruinart is fresh, smooth and round with beautiful delicate bubbles. Fine and mineral, nose of brioche and roasted almonds. Very elegant champagne.
The second skin case is a 100% recyclable packaging with which the oldest champagne house is further expanding its sustainability policy. This unique eco-friendly packaging is a perfect marriage between the aesthetic and the practical; between the characteristic silhouette of the bottle and the integrity of the taste of the champagne. The aim is to reduce waste and recycle materials, without affecting the experience or the taste. Where a generous gift packaging used to be self-evident, a fully recyclable packaging made of 100% natural wood fibres is more in keeping with the times. The innovative paper case feels silky soft and, as a tribute to the crayères, has a subtle relief that is reminiscent of the visible traces of chisels in the chalk-carved historic champagne cellars of the Maison in Reims.
In addition, this 2nd skin is also an excellent protection for this delicate champagne. The influence of light (and temperature) is great, so storing it in a dark and cool place keeps this Ruinart Blanc de Blanc (and this applies to all wines, but certainly to champagnes and cavas) in the best condition.
FACT: The wine is in our conditioned Wine Warehouse and if you come to pick up the wine you will often also receive a nice discount. You will see your discount immediately when you choose 'Pick up' on the checkout page. We are located in Dordrecht with plenty of parking. Click here for our address.

Professional Reviews
Parker
92 Punten Wine Spectator:
"Smoky and focused, with an intensity to the racy acidity and tightly knit flavors of white peach, chamomile, crystallized honey, pickled ginger and pink peppercorn. Exhibits lovely texture and offers a long, mineral-tinged finish."- AN
91 Punten International Wine Review:
"It has fresh aromas of light lemon jasmine, and fresh fruit. It is lively and crisp with moderate acidity and creaminess resulting from 10 days of malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. It is beautifully balanced hints of peach, mint and pineapple."
90 Punten Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
„This is a fabulous version of Ruinart’s NV Brut Blanc de Blancs. The wine seems fresher, more vibrant and less obviously sweet than in the past, all of which makes this a far more interesting wine. The trademark profile of lemon, jasmine and green apples is very much in the forefront while the wine’s textural finesse and length are both first-class. This release of the NV Brut makes a great introduction to the wines of Ruinart, Champagne’s oldest house.“ - Antonio Galloni

Ruinart is the oldest surviving champagne house. This house was already established in 1729. Today it is owned by the prestigious LVMH group. This group also owns Louis Vuitton and Möet & Chandon. Champagne house Ruinart has spectacular Gallo-Roman limestone quarries where the champagne ripens in the cool dark. Ruinart champagnes are elegant and harmonious. They have a very fine acidity and an unprecedented complexity.
