Description
In 1984, Baron de Ladoucette, a renowned winemaker from the Loire, bought the Régnard estate in Chablis. Ladoucette gradually improved the quality of this estate to now belong to the top in Chablis. Presented in a unique bottle, just like the iconic Baron de L of Ladoucette, this Chablis is for the true enthusiast. The vines are all more than 30 years old and guarantee an elegant wine.
The history goes back to 1860, but in 1984 Baron Patrick de Ladoucette also became the owner. The winery owns the most Grands Crus and Premiers Crus of all of Chablis. There are many Premiers Crus in Chablis, but there are only seven Grand Crus in all of Chablis and all seven of them are from the Régnard winery. In short, the winery owns a beautiful collection of Chablis. Chablis is the ultimate comfort zone of the Chardonnay. This is because it thrives here in a perfect terroir with an extremely suitable microclimate and a soil full of lime. The grapes come from their own vineyards and undergo a careful selection. The grapes are picked by hand, after which they are matured for twelve months on the lees.
The Régnard Bourgogne Pinot Noir is made from a selection of Pinot Noir grapes from the Côte de Beaune. The grapes are picked by hand, after which slow alcoholic fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks. The Régnard Bourgogne Pinot Noir Lively is bright in color with bluish hues. An expressive nose with fruity aromas such as raspberry, blackcurrant and cherry that are enhanced by the slightly spicy notes. In the mouth present pleasant tannins with a nice freshness. Fruity and spicy in the aftertaste.

Régnard is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Burgundy. It was founded in 1860 by Zéphir Régnard and in 1984, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took over the domain, restoring and perpetuating the style and tradition of the wines. Régnard produces 7 Grand Crus Chablis (Les Clos, Bougros, Blanchots, Grenouilles, Preuses, Valmur and Vaudésir), 5 Premier Crus (Fourchaume, Montmains, Vaillons, Montée de Tonnerre and Mont de Milieu), Chablis and Petit Chablis. In 1992, the Baron created a special cuvée called Grand Régnard, made from a selection of grapes from the best vineyards in Chablis, presented in a remarkably beautiful bottle, inspired by an old model from the 17th century.
