The local Muscat grape, Moscato Gialli or Moscato Fior d'Arancio, comes from the best areas of Veneto selected for this variety. The slopes where the grapes are planted consist of volcanic and tuff soils. By allowing them to ripen for an extended period, the grapes become bursting with sugar. The grapes are picked and selected for their good condition, after which they are dried for a month. At Maculan, the grapes are dried under natural conditions in a dry loft. The grapes hang on large, long ropes, with only air movement to remove moisture from the grapes. Gentle fermentation produces a wine that is not too sweet and still retains all the fruit of the freshly picked grapes. The wine is then aged in the bottle for another three months.
Dindarello is a slightly sweet wine made from a local variety of the Muscat grape, Moscato Gialli or Moscato Fior d'Arancio. By allowing it to age for an extended period, the grapes become overflowing with sugar. Gentle fermentation produces a wine that is not overly sweet, yet retains all the fruit of the freshly harvested grapes.
Plums, complexity, an elegant palate, and with honey, a wine with beautiful acidity, richness and sweetness, but not too heavy. Very elegant and light-footed. The fruit is beautiful, as is the acidity. A fantastic dessert wine and, in our opinion, one of the best, given its excellent price-quality ratio. Perfect as an excellent aperitif, pleasant with fruits such as pineapple, apricot, or peach, and lighter desserts. The estate is located in the center of the village of Breganze. Its wines are featured on the best wine lists worldwide. The wines are comparable to those of great Bordeaux, and its dessert wines are unique!
