Description
The local version of the muscat grape, the moscato gialli or moscato fior d'arancio comes from the best areas of Veneto that have been chosen for this variety. The slopes on which the grapes are planted consist of volcanic and tuff soils. By allowing it to ripen for an extra long time, the grapes become bursting with sugar. The grapes are picked and selected for their good condition, after which they are first dried for a month. At Maculan, the grapes are dried under natural conditions, in a dry loft. The grapes hang on large, long strings, where only air movement is provided, to remove the moist air from the grapes. A careful fermentation produces a wine that is not too sweet, and in which all the fruit of the freshly picked grapes is still present. The wine then matures in the bottle for another three months.
Residual sugar: 130 grams per liter.
The Dindarello is a slightly sweet wine, made from a local variety of the Muscat grape, the Moscato Gialli or Moscato Fior d'Arancio. By letting it ripen for an extra long time, the grapes become bursting with sugar. A careful fermentation produces a wine that is not too sweet, and in which all the fruit of the freshly picked grapes is still present.
Plums, complexity, an elegant taste, with honey a wine with very nice acids, richness and sweet, but not too heavy, very elegant and light-footed, the fruit is beautiful, the acids are too. Great dessert wine and in our opinion one of the better ones given the very good price-quality ratio. Very suitable as a great aperitif, pleasant with fruit, such as pineapple, apricot or peach, lighter desserts. The domain is located in the center of the village of Breganze. The wines of this domain are on the best wine lists all over the world. The wines can be compared to the great Bordeaux and its dessert wines are unique!
