The vineyards are situated on the renowned clay and gravel soils of the Pomerol plateau. This combination creates depth, structure, and a pronounced mineral undertone. The warm and concentrated 2022 growing season produced ripe, powerful grapes with impressive aromatic intensity.

In 2022, the blend features a remarkably high proportion of Cabernet Franc, approximately 30%, supplemented with Merlot. Cabernet Franc adds structure, spice, and tension, while Merlot provides roundness, depth, and a velvety texture. The plots are harvested and vinified separately to ensure maximum precision.

Harvest, vinification and maturation

After rigorous selection, the wine was fermented and aged in oak barrels. In this warm year, extraction was chosen to enhance power and concentration without sacrificing balance. The result is a structured yet refined Pomerol with clear tannin definition.

Deep dark red with purple highlights. The nose opens with ripe cherries, dark forest fruit, and graphite, complemented by spicy notes, roasted herbs, and a subtle savory, almost meaty-mineral undertone.

The palate is powerful and layered with inky dark fruit, bittersweet chocolate, licorice, and new leather. The structure is firm yet fine-grained, with precise tannins and a fresh tension that balances the whole. The finish is full, concentrated, and long, with a compact and impressive finale.
