Description
The Bogle family has been active in agriculture for over 100 years. Since the late 1960s, they have also grown grapes in the California wine region of Clarksburg and later also Lodi. Bogle is certified by various agencies: California Certified Sustainable Winegrowing, Lodi Rules Certified Green Certificate and the “Sacramento Area Sustainable Business” Certificate.
The Bogle is a fresh aromatic wine as befits a Viognier. It is a rich wine with considerable complexity. The wine has a beautiful straw yellow color with a fresh citrus flavor at first, but after some oxygen and swirling the mineral tones emerge together with tropical fruit. In the mouth this full-bodied wine is full of flavor, again with tropical fruit, melon and pineapple, but also with good acidity and length.

The Bogle family has been growing wines since the nineteenth century. It wasn't until around 1968 that the family planted the first vines near Clarksburgh USA. After years of hard work, the Bogle family has more than 1,200 acres of viticulture in California. With the growth of the company, the family established a name within the wine world, both in America and abroad. The main reason for the success is that the family is engaged in the production of wine on a daily basis. The family understands that high quality wines start with excellent grape varieties. They ensure this by working organically with respect for the land and the environment. The story behind the pheasant on the labels of the wines is as follows. The family wanted a label that reflected the region of the vineyards. The family came into contact with the artist Paul Lorenzi, who was sketching the wines one evening. Suddenly a beautiful pheasant sat in the middle of the vineyard. The Bogle wines label was born!
