Description
Aubert & Mathieu is the adventure of two friends who want to change the way wine is produced and consumed: a modern and committed vision. They make wines from the best terroirs of Languedoc Roussillon! The wines are characterized by our style that oscillates between freshness, the greed of the fruit and the respect for the typicity of the terroirs. High quality, cheerful and non-conformist. A committed vision for the planet is a key element in the vision. The world of tomorrow is being built today. This is translated into action with so there is serious attention to CO2 neutral operation, preservation of local biodiversity, meaningful viticulture and ecologically designed packaging.
“Let them drink wine” is something Queen Marie Antoinette could have said better. Then they would have known what to do with this Corbières from Aubert & Mathieu. It is a wine that looks and feels like velvet. Aromas of toast and fresh red fruit. In the mouth, in addition to the black fruit, you find plums and a hint of peppermint. That might be why there is mint green on the label? The wine certainly has tannins for some grip! Well, and it won’t cost you your head either! Delicious with a nice roast beef with a red wine sauce.
ABOUT THE LABELS
They try to bring together the traditional and the modern through labels that arouse curiosity. Unique, each cuvée has a dominant colour that expresses the true nature of its juice. Mint green for Marie Antoinette: it is a wine that looks like velvet, it has a very soft side, it glides over the palate without capturing it and it has a small mint note on the fresh and very pleasant aftertaste.
FACT: Aubert & Mathieu wines are served in Air France/KLM business class
