2022 Chateau Minuty Rose Prestige

The Minuty Cuvée Prestige is one of the 2 great rosés of the domain, together with the cuvée Rose et Or. The Minuty Cuvee Prestige is made from the best grapes with a very small production. The wine is grown and produced completely organically, so no use of artificial fertilizers, pesticides or other chemicals.

The vineyard of Château Minuty is located on the slopes of the villages of Gassin and Ramatuelle, overlooking the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. It owes its great fame to the style of the wines and the flawless regularity. The harvest is entirely by hand with an almost bizarre perfection. Only grapes of the best quality are allowed in this version and therefore the first selection is already done in the vineyards, then the grapes are checked one by one in the winery and only the very best grapes are allowed in the Cuvee Prestige.

Chateau Minuity has a fully automatic bottling line designed to protect the rosé wines from oxidation and respect their aromatic qualities. Chateau Minuity (and certainly the Rose et Or and the Cuvee Prestige) belongs to the top houses such as Château Camparnaud, Ott, MIP, AIX, Miraval, Domaine Tropez that have set the trend to produce absolute quality rosé that can be excellent as an aperitif but certainly also excellent with lobster, shellfish, white pasta dishes or a delicious salad. The quality and education is also such that the wines remain blissful when aging (2-3 years).

Their groundbreaking method is also used for the Minuty Prestige, in which they only use the first juice that is released during the production of their rosé wines. The weight of the grapes is enough to get a first natural pressing and this first juice is fermented and used for the top model the Rose et Or and the Cuvee Prestige (a mix of this juice and the first pressing) and gives the rosé wine the sumptuous texture and elegance.

The wine is a blend of mainly Grenache supplemented with Cinsault and Syrah. In the glass it has a typical Provence light color and has light pink reflections. Fruity and fresh scent of strawberry and citrus fruits with floral notes. Nice mineral, lively and fruity taste. A fresh and very pleasant rosé. This is a famous classified cru from Provence that represents the essence of the wines of that region.
