This bold blend of 33% Grenache, 33% Syrah, 33% Cinsault and 1% Rolle presents a delicate and terroir driven wine. Here the money has been invested in the wine and not in the marketing campaigns of the hyped brands. This is wine with a capital W. Pale salmon pink in color, its nose is full and expressive with aromas of white peach and orange blossom. The palate is delicious, airy and long with a fresh, spicy and mineral aftertaste. It is the perfect wine for those beautiful summer days on the terrace or can be enjoyed with tapas, cold meat, shrimp or a summer asparagus risotto. "The ultimate summer sipper!" Grandrosé wines can currently be found in prestigious hotels, wine bars and cellars.

The Grandrosé roses come from part of the most premium appellation, namely the AOP Côtes de Provence and this should not be confused with the AOP Coteaux d'Aix, Coteaux Varois or IGP Var. This appellation contains a 'grandcru area' called Pierrefeu and this is where the most beautiful rosés are made. Pierrefeu benefits from a Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild winters. The vineyards are located on rolling hills protected by nearby mountains, providing ideal conditions for wine growing. The soil in Pierrefeu consists mainly of schist and limestone, which contributes to the minerality and intensity of the wines. The sea breeze ensures healthy vineyards without the need for pesticides or fertilizers. The chalky/slate soil provides minerality and the altitude and fresh wind ensure good acidity. This is what it takes to produce a beautiful rosé and that is the case with Grandrose. The name fully lives up to it.

GrandRosé is a story of a passionate winemaker, in love with his profession, his land but also a story of friendship and sharing. It all started at a dinner between two epicurean friends looking for a good and beautiful rosé, which they never found... They took matters into their own hands, and thus, GrandRosé was born!

Olivier de Pierrefe, a fourth-generation winemaker whose love for his craft and his land is reflected in each wine. Since 2005, he has tended to the estate with dedication, embracing organic farming practices as a testament to nature.

GrandRosé is located in the premium terroir of the AOP Côtes de Provence, where the vineyards are cultivated in slate and limestone soils. The unique microclimate of sea breezes and sun-drenched days, nurtures grapes of through ripening, giving the wine character and complexity. Organic viticulture flourishes, aided by nature's own defences against disease.

The result? A collection of rosés that defy convention, crafted from the classic varietals of Grenache, Syrah, Rolle (Vermentino), and Cinsault. These wines, born from the soul of Provence, exude a dry, mineral salinity – a testament to the "gravoche" soil and the maritime influence that defines the region.

Despite its brief existence, GrandRosé has already garnered accolades, including the prestigious Gold Medal at the 2022 Paris fair. Its presence graces the tables of high-end gastronomy, hotels, wine bars, and renowned wine cellars, a testament to its enduring allure and undeniable quality.
