Miranius from Celler Credo is named after the wily fox that ventures into the vineyards of Celler Credo and is delighted by the sweet aromas of the grapes. Miranius is a lively, vibrant wine that ages well in bottle. It is made 100% from the Mediterranean Xarel lo variety and is known and loved for its fresh acidity and fine palate. Miranius is intended to express the richness and uniqueness of the Penedès region's landscapes. Therefore, it is made with grapes harvested from a selection of Xarel lo vineyards spread across three main areas of the region: Plana del Penedès (eastern area), Muntanyes d'Ordal (vineyards at an altitude of 400 meters) and Vall del Bitlles. All these vineyards are cultivated according to organic farming principles. All Celler Credo grapes are harvested by hand to ensure precise selection of the fruit and guarantee excellent quality. Furthermore, great care is taken during the ripening process, with the aim of producing wines with natural, fresh acidity, resulting in an expressive and balanced wine. Fresh white fruit, a beautiful minerality, and good acidity make this a truly delicious and exceptionally pure glass of white wine.

Celler Credo by Recaredo
A project by Recaredo, for which several plots of land have been purchased for the production of these vin naturel wines. The aim is to create a pure expression of the Xarel.lo through the use of different aging and fermentation methods. A particularly pure style of wine, great for wine and food pairings! This Vin Naturale wine is vinified and bottled at Recaredo - the owner of Celler Credo.

The following facts demonstrate that serious efforts are being made to make this great wine extremely sustainable.

  • Only 11.5% alcohol - so fitting in with the modern style of good wine with less alcohol
  • Sulphites only 47 mg/l (150 mg/l is permitted by the EU for organic white wines)
  • Residual sugar only <0.5 g/l

Recaredo Corpinnat is without doubt a reference for long-aged cavas and, together with Mestres and Gramona, is considered the Grandcru and the top of the cavas. Recaredo also has a silent white wine project and these wines are made under the Celler Credo name. Celler Credo or 'free-of-mind' label from Recaredo. With these still white wines, the Recaredo team discovers what is possible with Xarel.lo from different teroirs and vinification methods.

Impeccable Vins Natural! Recaredo has acquired a number of (very) special vineyards in the Penedès region for the production of refined natural wines. The aim is a pure expression of Xarel.lo where different fermentation methods and maturation processes are used. The wines are made by the well-known winemakers Nuria Arteaga and Ton Mata and they know exactly how to strike the right chord and make particularly pure and energetic wines from Xarel.lo, whereby the wines, as also with the Cavas from Recaredo, have become benchmark wines for ' nature' style Xarel.lo in the Penedès. Aged on the lees, macerated with the skin or stems of the grape, without the addition of sulphites – modern techniques or techniques learned from our grandparents... In short, a thousand and one ways to interpret Xarel-lo. In other words, Xarel-lo is the Credo.
