2021 Terra Tangra Organic Rubin

Rubin is an authentic Bulgarian grape variety. It was created by crossing Syrah and Nebbiolo. The crossing took place in 1944, but it was not until 1961 before the new grape variety was recognized internationally. The Terra Tangra Organic Rubin is Bulgaria's first officially certified wine. The Terra Tangra Organic Rubin is an accessible red wine with a sparkling deep cherry red color with black fruit, blackberries, ripe cherries, cherry jam, coffee, mocha and a hint of caramel with some earthy notes and smoke on the nose. In the mouth the wine is full, pure and beautifully balanced with tasty ripe tannins, rich flavors of dark fruit, complemented by notes of dark chocolate. Wonderfully spicy in the aftertaste.

ABOUT TERRA TANGRA

Terra Tangra was established in 1999. The vineyards are located on the southwestern slopes of the Sakar Mountains and along the Maritsa River, Thracian Valley, Bulgaria. The winery produces a wide selection of red, white and rosé wines – varietal and blend wines, including limited boutique series.
