2021 Quinta de Soalheiro Alvarinho Vinho Verde

The Alvarinho is raised on stainless steel on its own lees. The wine is very dry, expressive and fresh in a beautiful way. Try it for yourself but the wine has several personalities. It is fresh and dry at the start but after a while the wine becomes powerful and concentrated. This is unique for a wine from this price range. The specialists at Parker are also not sure and really don't know which drinking window to keep (until 2030+), but we keep it in the middle. This Portuguese wine has a wonderful fresh scent of minerals, citrus fruits and something of tropical fruit. Intense and aromatic taste, excellent balance, fatty structure, ripe fruit tones, minerals, fine acids, lots of length and beautifully pure. A good price and quality go hand-in-hand.
