Azienda Agricola Pravis has its vineyards high up in the Dolomites. The perfect climate, softened by the Ora, the wind that blows through the valley from Lake Garda, produces very elegant wines. Connoisseurs know that the cool nights and the altitude ensure good temperature differences and this gives wines the right balance and certainly the Sauvignon Blanc from this region, as well as the neighboring Alto Adige, get a different (we think beautiful) character. The Pravis vineyards are located in Lasino at an altitude of 500-700 meters with a southwestern exposure.
The pride of our winery - this is where Pravis's fact sheet (see attachment) starts about this wine. Le Frate is made from 100% Nosiola grapes, harvested from the vineyard "Le Frate" in Lasino, at an altitude of 450 m. slm with southwest exposure. It is the pride of the Pravis white wine. It comes exclusively from Nosiola grapes grown on the steep slopes overlooking the lakes of Toblino and Cavedine, on the characteristic terraces, called "frate". Light in its clear color, it has a voluptuous smell / taste ratio where you can taste aromas reminiscent of hazelnut, wild apples, rose hips in bloom. A delicious wine from the only autochthonous white grape in Trentino.
FACT: In the Tab: Appendix you will find the official fact sheet of this fine wine. We will automatically send it to you when you order this wine
About Nosiola
Nosiola is the only indigenous white grape in Trentino. Nosiola grows and flourishes with excellent results in the Valle dei Laghi (the valley of the lakes). The Mediterranean climate of this valley also ensures that part of the grape bunches of the Nosiola can dry well and can then be used to produce the Vino Santo Classico Trentino Doc. The vines of the Nosiola are still semi-wild (the vines grow in a bushy way), which makes them difficult to cultivate because they are very delicate and susceptible to disease.
The low yield per hectare helps to create an authentic wine for connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
