Azienda Agricola Pravis has its vineyards situated high in the Dolomites. The perfect climate, tempered by the Ora, the wind that blows through the valley from Lake Garda, produces very elegant wines. Connoisseurs know that the cool nights and altitude ensure good temperature variations, giving the wines the right balance. Certainly, the Sauvignon Blanc from this region, as well as from neighboring Alto Adige, acquires a different (which we find beautiful) character as a result. The Pravis vineyards are located in Lasino at an altitude of 500-700 meters with a south-westerly exposure.
The pride of our winery – this is how the Pravis factsheet (see attachment) about this wine begins. Le Frate is made from 100% Nosiola grapes, harvested from the "Le Frate" vineyard in Lasino, at an altitude of 450 m, facing southwest. It is the pride of Pravis white wine. It comes exclusively from Nosiola grapes grown on the steep slopes overlooking the lakes of Toblino and Cavedine, on the characteristic terraces called "frate". Light in its bright color, it has a voluptuous aroma-flavor balance where you can taste aromas reminiscent of hazelnut, wild apples, and blooming rosehips. A delightful wine from the only indigenous white grape in Trentino.

About Nosioloa
Nosiola is the only indigenous white grape in Trentino. Nosiola grows and flourishes with excellent results in the Valle dei Laghi (the Valley of the Lakes). The Mediterranean climate of this valley also ensures that a portion of the Nosiola grape clusters can dry out well, allowing them to be used to produce Vino Santo Classico Trentino DOC. The Nosiola vines are still semi-wild (the vines grow in a bushy manner), making them difficult to cultivate because they are very delicate and susceptible to disease.
The low yield per hectare helps in the creation of an authentic wine for connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
