Description
Misty Cove is the relatively young wine company of winemaker Andrew Bailey and his Dutch wife Marieke. The grapes come from the best vineyards of Marlborough and Central Otago, which Andrew partially owns. Misty Cove makes pure and above all characteristic wines that have already distinguished themselves in a large number of competitions. The company has a great affinity with sustainability. The Misty Cove Estate Pinot Noir is an inviting and fruity Pinot Noir from New Zealand. The wine has a bright ruby red color with a subtle purple glow. Small ripe red fruits are particularly prominent in the fragrance, such as berries, raspberries and strawberries. But there is more: you also taste something earthy and sweet spices. All this in a gently smoky context. An elegant wine with ripe tannins and a refined finish. Lovely to drink like this. Just slightly chilled. Eat with it?
