Marc Colin's white Burgundy is a 100% Chardonnay. This Chardonnay is rich in structure and taste and has aromas of white fruit. The wine has a beautiful minerality, which provides a lot of finesse and freshness. Marc Colin started the wine estate in the late 1970s. Today, three of his children run the area, which covers 19 hectares and consists of 26 appellations in the villages of Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Santenay. They apply sustainable viticultural principles to part of the vineyards, and test organic cultivation on the other part. Through regular tillage, they avoid the use of chemicals for weed control and obtain grapes of impeccable quality. Production consists of regional appellations, municipal appellations, 1er Cru and Grand Cru, with an annual total of approximately 120,000 bottles, of which 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. Marc Colin's style of winemaking can best be called traditional, although he certainly does not shy away from innovations.

The vineyards were planted in 1978 and 1992.
Harvest
The entire harvest is done manually and is selected very strictly.
Vinification
The bunches of grapes are pressed pneumatically. Vinification and aging for 10 months in wooden barrels. Clarification and filtering before bottling.

Can serve well as an aperitif and goes well with salads, pastas and charcuterie.
Marc Colin comes from a wine family in Burgundy with a solid reputation. Together with his two sons, he manages a 20 ha estate located in the village of Saint-Aubin in the Côte de Beaune. He owns only top appellations: Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, Premier Cru vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Pernand-Vergelesses. This is quite exceptional. Although this domain has always been known for its quality, Colin nevertheless sees an opportunity to continuously improve it. That is why he is getting more and more critical reviews in the international press. Colin's wines excel in purity and combine strength with elegance. Maybe a little shy in their youth, but with enormous storage potential.
Traditionally set, he vinifies his wines with a curious intuition for nature. Although he is open to Innovation, he maintains a traditional style and strives for optimal freshness in his white wines and avoids the wood-dominated type Chardonnay. He is the most awarded winery from Gamay St-Aubin and owner of Restaurant Le Chassagne with 1 Michelin star
