Description

Borgogno is one of the very first and probably the oldest wineries in Piemonte. The Italian winery strongly believes in the classic and traditional philosophy which is its strength; for years the observance of these traditions has been passed on to the next generations. Borgogno owns 13 hectares of vineyards of which 9 are planted with the Nebbiolo grape. The wines are all vinified in a traditional way to produce unique and structured wines. The wines are produced sustainably.

In the glass this Borgogno Barolo has a beautiful typical garnet red color as befits a beautiful Nebbiolo. In the nose the wine is intense and we smell tones of vanilla, spices such as nutmeg, laurel and black pepper. In addition, aromas of red fruit, black licorice, roses and wood. In the mouth the wine is dry but also soft with fresh acids, full, powerful, velvety and well balanced. In its young years definitely decant.

FACT: The wine is in our conditioned Wine Warehouse and if you come to pick up the wine you will also receive a nice discount. You will see your discount immediately when you choose Pick up in Checkout page. We are located almost next to the Rijksweg with plenty of parking. Click here for our address.
