The Bogle family has been active in agriculture for more than 100 years. Since the late 1960s, grapes have also been grown in the Californian wine region of Clarksburg and later also Lodi. The chardonnay grapes for the Bogle Chardonnay Reserve are picked manually and then left to rest in new American oak for 16 months.
The Bogle Chardonnay Reserve is a powerhouse. We smell tropical fruits such as mango, pineapple, apricot with vanilla, hazelnut and clear use of wood. This ensures an extremely creamy and thick chardonnay of top quality. This is a full bodied chardonnay, which is also very elegant. Bogle is certified by several bodies: California Certified Sustainable Winegrowing, Lodi Rules Certified Green Certificate and the “Sacramento Area Sustainable Business” Certificate.
