2020 Adulation California Chardonnay

The Adulation winery is located in the beautiful wine region of California. The house is known for producing some of California's top wines at excellent prices. The house has vineyards with old vines planted in a soil that consists of a strong structure of clay soil with lime and marl. The strong soil in combination with the perfect climate that prevails in the area ensures that the grapes can ripen perfectly. For the Adulation wines, only the best bunches are selected, whose grapes are harvested by hand. The house is therefore able to produce wine of the best quality.

The grapes for this full-bodied and powerful Chardonnay wine are aged in oak barrels for several months after pressing. The result is a complex, full and creamy Chardonnay. The wine gives fresh and exotic aromas of tropical fruits. In the taste we taste yellow fruit combined with sweet herbs, toast and vanilla. The aftertaste is long and very powerful, what we are used to from a California Chardonnay. Adulation roughly translates as flattery and that fits perfectly with this fine Californian chardonnay because this is a typical wood-aged we, but at an un-American price.
