Weingut Pfeffingen Fuhrmann-Eymael, as the company is called in full, is located near Bad Dürkheim, in the heart of the Palatinate. The town of Pfeffingen has a very rich wine history dating back to 500-600 BC. The Pfeffingen winery was founded in 1622. Dating from that time, the original family coat of arms that still adorns the wine label to this day.
The Gewurztraminer Spätlese Ungstein from Weingut Pfeffingen is a great wine for lovers of the aromatic grape Gewurztraminer and wines that are off dry and semi sweet.
The wine is golden yellow in the glass. In the nose, the wine is aromatic with a spicy, spicy character. What immediately stands out is the purity and depth. Mild dry, elegant taste, nice spiciness, supplemented with minerals. A citrusy, gossamer acidity gives the wine elegance and the finish an enormous length. This wine is bottled with a screw cap.
This wine can be used as an aperitif or gastronomically: smoked, light fish, spicy cheeses, and of course perfect with (spicy) Asian cuisine.
