The Chenin Blanc vineyards are located in the heart of Anjou, between Cholet, Saumur and Angers on a soil of limestone and clay with slate. Domaine du Petit Clocher works with great respect for nature, certified by and according to the rules of the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale).
The Anjou Villages N° 26 comes from the AOC Anjou Villages. The vineyards are located in the heart of Anjou, between Cholet, Saumur and Angers on a calcareous soil with microdiorite (magmatic). The Anjou Villages N° 26 is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. After maceration and fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures for 16 months in new French oak barriques. This red Loire is powerful, dry and complex. It has a powerful nose, of stewed red and black fruit with aromas of the oak barrel, leather and freshly ground coffee.
in the mouth it has a firm attack of red and black fruit, full mouthfeel, firm but ripe tannins and a long, powerful finish. Delicious with game dishes, red meat and ripe hard cheeses.
