Churchill was known to enjoy Pol Roger Champagne, and the house had a special bond with him. The Sir Winston Churchill Cuvée is produced in limited quantities and only in exceptional vintages. It is a high-quality vintage champagne, considered one of Pol Roger's finest. Typically a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it undergoes extended cellar aging to achieve the desired complexity and elegance. Pol Roger's commitment to quality, its historical significance, and its association with iconic figures like Sir Winston Churchill have contributed to its esteemed reputation in the world of champagne production. Their wines are often celebrated for their finesse and elegance, making them a popular choice among champagne enthusiasts and collectors.

The 2013 Brut Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is a fantastic champagne. Rich and remarkably pure, it's highly expressive immediately after opening. Bright, salty notes cut through a core of candied lemon, dried flowers, apricot, tangerine peel, mint, and sage. As impressive as the 2013 is now, it really needs more time to open up. The transparency of this wine is particularly appealing. The 2013 vintage is a wonderful example of power without unnecessary weight in Champagne. A magnificent wine that makes a deep impression. This is a 1.5-liter magnum—even more delicious, more festive, and with a longer drinking window.

Dosage: 7 grams per liter

This champagne embodies elegance and balance, and will only improve with several years of bottle aging. A true classic.
