The Friulano is an authentic white grape from the northern Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Until 2007 the name of this grape was Tocai. By order of European regulations, the name had to be changed because there was also a wine in Hungary called Tokaj. The wine made from the Friulano grape can age excellently. The depth and complexity of the wine then increases.

What does wine from the Friulano grape taste like?

The Friulano is a lively, beautiful aromatic white wine with a delicious bitterness of almond in the aftertaste.
