Bodegas Atalaya

In the coastal region of Levante you will find that the challenging limestone soil and limited rainfall, allow for Garnacha Tintorera and Monastrellto thrive. The ancient vines have adapted to these tough conditions and flourish at an altitude of 700 metres. The low yielding vines produce concentrated berries bursting with varietal characteristics, full of rich flavours, and enticing aromas.

Employing innovative methods, winemakers have harnessed the freshness of fruits, resulting in a blend that is full of complexity. While the Garnacha Tintorera grape is the most prominent variety in the blends, the sweet and robust essence of the Monastrell grape remains notably present, adding a unique dimension to the wines.

The Juan Gil Family estates represents a group of small wineries spread all throughout Spain: from Jumilla to RíasBaixas, Montsant foothills to Calatayud, the flatlands of Almansa to the venerated kingdoms of Rueda and Castilla y León.
