Description
This elegant sparkling wine is made by Domaine Luquet, a family business established in the heart of Fuissé, in southern Burgundy, since 1878. The estate is known for its refined white wines, with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship and respect for the terroir. The sixth generation of Luquet now leads the estate, with modern insights but a deep-rooted tradition.
The Crémant de Bourgogne from Domaine Luquet is made according to the méthode traditionnelle, as is also customary for Champagne. The wine shines in the glass with a pale golden colour and a fine, persistent mousse. The bouquet is fresh and refined, with notes of green apple, white blossom, citrus and a subtle hint of brioche, created by maturing on the yeast residues.
In the mouth, this Crémant is lively, elegant and beautifully balanced, with a dry, refreshing finish. The wine matures for several months sur lie in the bottle, which provides extra depth and a fine creaminess, without losing its fresh character.
Perfect as an aperitif, but also an excellent accompaniment to oysters, sushi, light fish dishes or a festive dessert.
