Description
Juan Piñero Manzanilla Jarona is a very fresh and elegant Manzanilla that matures for only three to four years under flor, making it exceptionally fresh and smooth. The Palomino Fino grapes all come from a single vineyard on Ibariza (limestone) soil in Sanlúcar; a single vineyard. This sherry is bottled in a 0.375-liter bottle.
This Juan Piñero Manzanilla Jarona is fresh and spicy with citrus notes and a balsamic touch on the nose. On the palate, the sherry wine is spicy with a slightly salty finish. This is a delicious accompaniment to shellfish, fish, sushi, herring, olives, almonds, and, of course, perfect with authentic Belotta Jamom. Store in a cool, dark place for up to 3 days after opening.
ABOUT JUAN PIÑERO
Bodegas Juan Piñero was an Almacenista who sold his wines to bodegas Argüeso and La Gitana.
They began bottling their own wines in 2013. They also acquired the stocks and the old Maruja Manzanilla brand from Bodegas Terry. The winery is located in the center of the town of Sanlucar on Calle Trasbolsa near the Guadalquivir River. To preserve as much flavor as possible, the wines are only lightly filtered.
