Equipo Navazos La Bota de Oloroso Nº 108

An extremely aged, powerful and super concentrated wine that belongs to the same category as the noblest and oldest reliquias and sacristias of the Sherry District, including our releases No. 5 "NPI", No. 14 Oloroso, No. 47 Palo Cortado or No. 49 Amontillado. Of the La Bota 108 Oloroso are “Bota NO”. 1,200 bottles of 0.375 ltr bottled from a single cask selected from an old small solera of Oloroso, very carefully cared for by Chano Aragón in his bodega on Calle Olivo in the center of Chiclana.

This wine is sister (or brother, if you will) to the magnificent oloroso bottled six and a half years earlier as No. 63 and No. 98 in the La Bota series. These bottlings prove how extraordinarily noble the best wines from Chiclana are. This oloroso really deserves a place in the top of the old traditional wines of Andalusia, as well as one of the best from Jerez, Sanlúcar or Montilla.

The age of La Bota de Oloroso 108 "Bota NO" is extreme, certainly almost 90 years old, one of those very dry and concentrated, very tight wines, with a remarkable bitterness and remarkable dryness, Enjoy it like a great perfume and meditate.

The BOTA NO series are the top wines of Equipo Navazos from only a few extremely old barrels - on average between 75-125 years old. Often just a single barrel and always bottled in 0.375 liter bottles. These are collector's items.

Drink it in small glasses (riesling or white wine) in small quantities and cool (about 12º / 13ºC), to soften the intensity of its powerful structure.
