CHIARLI is the oldest producer of typical wines from Emilia Romagna. The company was founded in 1860. At Chiarli 1860 you will mainly find the standard Lambrusco but Cleto Chiarli Tenute Agricole was founded in 2000 to produce only the best of the best and produces quality wines obtained from a selection of the best grapes, which are harvested from more than 100 hectares (247 acres) of vineyards owned by Chiarli and from the most typical areas for the production of DOC wines in Emilia-Romagna. Chiarli is the oldest winery of Emilia-Romagna and the established name for Lambrusco wines in which the Cleto Chiarli series are the premium wines.
The Cleto Chiarli Vigneto Cialdini Lambrusco Grasparossa Di Castelvetro DOC is made from the Lambrusco grape Grasparosa. After picking the best grapes, the grapes are traditionally pressed with a maceration of 36 hours at 10°-12°C. The juice is then drained and cooled to retain the fruit as best as possible. All this is done at a low temperature and ensures a slow fermentation and thus one is able to gradually collect the mousse in a closed vessel (methode Charmat (2nd fermentation in tank)
The Cialdini is made from the noble grape Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro. The wine has an intense ruby red color in the glass. The wine is dry and pronounced and therefore incomparable with the Supermarket versions. The wine has an alcohol content of 11% vol. The taste lingers for a long time and the wine has a wonderfully fresh aftertaste. This wine is great with pasta and charcuterie
