Professional Reviews
James Suckling
The purity of chardonnay comes through clearly here with aromas of lightly cooked apple, warm pie crust, light vanilla and chalk, following through to a full body with lots of fruit, but the fine bubbles and phenolic tension frame the wine nicely. It’s very integrated and polished, with clarity and exuberance at the same time. A special cuvee for the night life, making its debut at this year’s Monaco Grand Prix. Pure chardonnay from the following villages: 70% Mesnil, 20% Vertus and 10% Trepail. Four years on the lees. Disgorged June 2023. 6g/L dosage. Drink or hold.
