How does this wine taste?
How full and heavy the wine feels in your mouth, like the difference between skimmed milk and cream. More alcohol, sugar and oak ageing make a wine fuller.
How much sugar you taste, from dry to sweet. Fruity is not the same as sweet: a dry wine can taste of ripe fruit.
How fresh and juicy the wine is: acidity makes your mouth water. High acidity tastes lively and refreshing, low acidity soft and round.

The bars follow how sommeliers taste (WSET): body, tannin, sweetness and acidity, each from low to high.
Body: medium-bodied. Fuller than most white wines from Chablis & Grand Auxerrois; 12.5% alcohol.
Acidity: high. The cool climate of Chablis & Grand Auxerrois.

Log inWhen you say oysters, you say Chablis by Louis Moreau. This 100% Chardonnay wine is characterized by a vibrant minerality so typical of the region. Refined aromas of apple, pear, and a hint of flowers create a beautiful balance. With a refreshing finish, the wine is perfect with seafood, white fish, or a light salad. It is also delightful to enjoy on a sunny day in good company.
Louis Moreau's Chablis comes from the famous wine region of the same name in the northern part of Burgundy. The vineyards are spread across 24 hectares surrounding the villages of Beines and Chablis. The soils consist of sand and clay. The Chardonnay grapes are harvested with care, with the plots in Chablis being picked first, followed by Beines to ensure optimal ripeness. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine then ages for at least four months on the fine lees, which contributes to extra complexity and finesse.

Wine features
