At Cignomoro, the focus is very consciously on the choices they make and have made. They consciously chose Puglia, consciously the vineyards, and to grow their vines there. They made this choice because they believe they can produce wine here that speaks for itself. The power of the sun, wind, and sea ensures that every sip is unique. They chose the “red lands” between Manduria and Carosino. Using the latest vinification techniques, without forgetting the value of a family winery, they ensure that Cignomoro wines can be counted among the best in Puglia.

The Cignomoro Pepe Nero Bianco is a blend of Verdeca, Bianco D'Alessano, and Minutolo. The grapes are first chilled after harvest followed by cold pressing, after which fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures between 16 and 18°C. In the glass, the wine has a light straw-yellow color with golden reflections. Aromatic on the nose with notes of white flowers, green apple, citrus fruit, and pineapple. On the palate, a fruity taste with pleasant acidity and a lingering finish. A delicious glass to enjoy on its own and a good wine for the terrace, but it also pairs very well with fish and seafood.
