2024 Il Conte Villa Prandone Offida Pecorino Navicchio

The Navicchio wine is made from indigenous vines of 100% white Pecorino grapes. The bouquet is fruity and soft with intense, complex aromas of citrus, candied fruit, and herbs. The wine is well-balanced; the attack is aromatic and powerful with beautifully interwoven oak, followed by a long, spicy finish. Harvesting is entirely by hand. Once the grapes enter the cellar, they are gently pressed. Fermentation and aging take place in cement and amphorae.

Il Conte Villa Prandone was born in the heart of the Piceno region, in the hills surrounding the charming medieval village of Monteprandone. The winery was established as a company in 1988, but the first vineyards were cultivated as early as the 1960s. The vineyards were not yet privately owned; it was only in 1988 that a portion of the vineyard was purchased and the company established. In the 1990s, investments were made in the company's own brand and the winery was renovated. New plots were also purchased and more and more vineyards were planted.
