EIVI “THE EMBRACED WINE”

This elegant Albariño, from the Spanish wine region of Rías Baixas, is beautifully balanced with mild fruit acidity and aromas of ripe citrus and passion fruit. The goal of winemakers Eric-Paul Sanders (founder of the EIVI Lifestyle Group) and Jose Estevez (founder of Viña Almirante) was to "create something special and untraditional in a traditional way." The result is EIVI, an iconic wine with a limited production run; only 20,000 bottles are produced each year.

EIVI is an iconic Albariño from Galicia, aged for several months on its own lees "sur lie." The wine has a brilliant golden yellow color and is beautifully balanced with lovely mild fruit acidity and delightful aromas of ripe citrus and passion fruit. Wonderfully mild fruit acidity and aromas of ripe citrus and passion fruit. Its complexity and formidable length make this white Rías Baixas a favorite accompaniment to fish, shellfish, or grilled meats.
