Description
Delicious, oak-aged wines from the village of Uchizy, offering excellent value. This is Chardonnay in its purest form! Organically grown. Light and bright yellow-gold in color, with silvery-green highlights.
The nose is subtle, abundant with soft citrus fruit, floral nuances (honeysuckle, acacia, white rose), and a hint of green herbs (lemon balm, verbena). These aromas flow out on the palate, complemented by quince and occasional (wild) fennel. The attack is fresh, dry, and fruity, but the mouthfeel is round, mild, and concentrated, with good length.
