2024 Boschendal 1685 Sauvignon Blanc Grande Cuvée

This Boschendal 1685 Sauvignon Blanc Grande Cuvée is a Sauvignon Blanc with a small percentage of Semillon (92% Sauvignon Blanc and 8% Semillon) with aging entirely in stainless steel tanks, which gives the Sauvignon the freshness that it needs in this warmer climate compared to, for example, the Loire. In the glass, the wine has a light straw yellow color. In the nose we smell notes of herbs and tropical fruit with aromas of minerals and lime and green figs. These complex aromas lead to a creamy, harmonious taste with a long aftertaste full of minerals.
