The Momo Sauvignon Blanc is an expressive white wine from the Marlborough region of New Zealand, produced by Seresin Estate. The name "Momo" means "offspring" in Māori, emphasizing the close connection with the parent company.
Tasting notes: This wine offers a complex aroma of tropical fruit, spices and a hint of cassis. The natural fermentation adds a rich texture to the palate, with subtle notes of lemon peel and passion fruit. The finish is fresh and dry.
Vineyard & Vinification: The grapes for Momo Sauvignon Blanc come from organically certified vineyards in the Omaka Valley. After hand harvesting, the grapes are cold stabilized and undergo a long, cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is briefly aged on the lees to improve texture. The result is a wine that reflects the pure expression of the fruit and the land.

This wine plays on its clarity, texture and freshness. It's aromatically subtle, with green notes meeting nectarine and blackcurrant. While the region's natural freshness abounds, the wine retains a round shape and natural curve before being sewn up by a thread of acidity. There are layers of interest here that will keep you coming back.

MOMO, wat betekent nakomelingen in Maori, is de tweede lijn van het bekende Seresin Estate in Marlborough, Nieuw-Zeeland.
