Description
De Groot Parys Die Tweede Droom Colombard Vatgegis is an exceptionally rare pearl with only 280 bottles produced. This wine comes from a distinctive plot planted in 1987, making the vines a proud part of the Old Vine Project. Despite the low yields, these vines produce juice of extraordinary concentration. Fermented and aged in old French oak barrels, this wine has undergone malolactic fermentation without batonnage. After 10 months of maturing it is now ready to enjoy! On the nose it reveals spicy sweet floral notes intertwined with honey, anise and bright citrus. The palate follows with an exciting profile, with flavors of white almond, spicy grapefruit and a hint of licorice.
