Description
Delicious, non-wood-aged wines from the village of Uchizy, with an excellent price/quality ratio. This is Chardonnay in its purest form! Organic wine growing. Light and bright yellow-gold in color, with silver-green glints.
The nose is subtle, full of soft citrus fruit, floral nuances (honeysuckle, acacia, white rose) and a hint of green herbs (lemon balm, verbena). In the mouth these aromas flow out, supplemented with quince and sometimes (wild) fennel. The attack is fresh, dry and fruity, but the mouthfeel is round, mild and concentrated, with a good length.
