In 1984, Baron de Ladoucette, a renowned winemaker from the Loire, bought the Régnard domain in Chablis. Ladoucette gradually improved the quality of this domain to now be among the top in Chablis. Presented in a unique bottle, just like the Iconic Baron de L from Ladoucette, this Chablis is for the true enthusiast. The vines are all more than 30 years old and guarantee an elegant wine.

The history goes back to 1860, but in 1984 Baron Patrick de Ladoucette also became owner here. The winery has the most Grands Crus and Premiers Crus in all of Chablis. There are many Premiers crus in Chablis, but there are only seven Grand Crus in all of Chablis and all seven are from the Régnard winery. In short, the winery has a beautiful collection of Chablis. Chablis is surely the ultimate comfort zone of Chardonnay. That's because it thrives here in a perfect terroir with an extremely suitable microclimate and a soil full of lime. The grapes come from our own vineyards and undergo careful selection. The grapes are picked by hand, after which they mature for twelve months on the lees.

Régnard produces 7 Grand Crus Chablis (Les Clos, Bougros, Blanchots, Grenouilles, Preuses, Valmur and Vaudésir), 5 Premier Crus (Fourchaume, Montmains, Vaillons, Montée de Tonnerre and Mont de Milieu), Chablis and Petit Chablis. In 1992, the Baron created a special cuvée called Grand Régnard, made from a selection of grapes from the best vineyards in Chablis, presented in a remarkably beautiful bottle, inspired by an old model from the 17th century.

The Regnard Chardonnay "Retour des Flandres" Vieilles Vignes comes, as the name suggests, from old chardonnay vines. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the malolactic fermentation takes place 2/3 in steel tanks and 1/3 in wooden barrels. The wine matures in oak barrels. The Regnard Chardonnay "Retour des Flandres" Vieilles Vignes has a gold color with green reflections in the glass. Mineral aromas intertwined with yellow fruit and subtle nuances of herbs on the nose. The taste is characteristic of Burgundy white with ripe fruit and herbs, elegant and minerally. The aftertaste is long and fresh with a buttery structure.

Régnard is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Burgundy. It was founded in 1860 by Zéphir Régnard and in 1984, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took over the domain, restoring and perpetuating the style and tradition of the wines. Régnard produces 7 Grand Crus Chablis (Les Clos, Bougros, Blanchots, Grenouilles, Preuses, Valmur and Vaudésir), 5 Premier Crus (Fourchaume, Montmains, Vaillons, Montée de Tonnerre and Mont de Milieu), Chablis and Petit Chablis.
