Description
This pleasant Corette Syrah has a beautiful, intense dark color. This red wine has aromas of dark fruit (blackberries and plums) and spicy accents (cinnamon) on the nose. The wine has a nice firm taste and is complex with a long and velvety finish. The wines of Corette are actually always good. This wine is made from 100% syrah grapes and has, like all Corette wines, a clean, accessible and fruity style.
The syrah grapes undergo a long maceration on the grape skins, which gives the wine a lot of color and a full taste with intense aromas. To add complexity, structure and power, part of the wine is matured in oak barrels. After a few months, the wines from the different regions and with the different preparations are tasted and mixed in the right composition to the desired end result.
This Syrah tastes very good in combination with red meat and hard cheeses.

Delicious wines from a single grape variety (monocépages) in a clean, accessible, fruity style. These are the Corette wines - really wines to please immediately. At the same time, the Corette wines are not only typical of their grape varieties, but also of their region of origin. The wines are described as: Wines for everyday use, that offer something to hold on to, that you can rely on, because they are always good and offer what you are looking for. Because you are a wine lover, but not necessarily a wine connoisseur. That is why we developed Corette seven years ago. The wines are made by Badet Clément, from Catherine and Laurent Delaunay, a large house that originates from Burgundy, but has also been active in Languedoc-Roussillon and the southern Rhône for a long time.
The Corette wine series has been developed exclusively for the trade and catering industry and currently consists of 8 products, each made from a single grape variety. Much attention has been paid to the appearance of the Corette wines (including labels, bottles and presentation). The Corette series contains wines from the Pays d'Oc. Corette stands for pure and honest wines for every day; wines in which the aroma and taste characteristics of the grape are well expressed. The chic and stylish design ensures the right experience on every table.
