2021 Terra Tangra Tamyanka

The Terra Tangra Tamianka is a 100% Tamyanka and this is a typical Bulgarian autohtone grape variety for the production of quality wines. It is a rare grape, also known and cultivated on a small scale in other neighboring countries, such as Macedonia, Serbia. The Tamjanika, Temjanika or Tamyanka is a variety of Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains. It is named after tamjan, because of the intense aroma of ripe grapes, which can be perceived from a few meters away. The Terra Tangra Tamianka has a sparkling, straw yellow color with greenish hints; with aromas of exotic fruits on the nose, slightly smoky nose with hints of cloves and cardamom, dried ginger, lychee and dried flowers. In the mouth, this Bulgarian wine is fresh, elegant and fragrant in taste with a pleasant aftertaste.

FACT: The bottles are closed with a so-called glass cork called the Vino-Lok. This is a glass-on-glass closure, but in fact the seal is shaped by a round polymer disc that is tasteless, alcohol and acid resistant and even mimics the oxygen transfer of natural cork. This closure eliminates the risk of TCA contaminated wine (cork), has no effect on the aromas of the wine, prevents further and unwanted development of the wine after bottling and provides a stable and leak-free long-term environment for the bottled wine. Vino-Lok looks stylish, no corkscrew is needed and the bottle can be easily resealed.
