2017 Terra Tangra Cabernet Sauvignon

The Terra Tangra Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was aged in wood for about 3-4 months in 400 liter French oak barrels. This red wine has vibrant colors in the glass, clear and vibrant ruby red. On the nose delicious aromas of ripened dark fruit, notes of licorice, leather, dried herbs, and minerals. The wine tastes very pleasant, is not too heavy and very accessible and easy to drink. Full of plums and blackberries on the palate, black pepper, and licorice. In the final we find a mild spiciness.

FACT : The bottles are closed with a so-called glass cork called the Vino-Lok. This is a glass-on-glass closure, but in fact the seal is shaped by a round polymer disc that is tasteless, alcohol and acid resistant and even mimics the oxygen transfer of natural cork. This closure eliminates the risk of TCA contaminated wine (cork), has no effect on the aromas of the wine, prevents further and unwanted development of the wine after bottling and provides a stable and leak-free long-term environment for the bottled wine. Vino-Lok looks stylish, no corkscrew is needed and the bottle can be easily resealed.
