This Bulgarian Terra Tangra Chardonnay Barrique is a 100% Chardonnay wine, raised in barriques. This wood-aged Chardonnay has a beautiful bright and vital light golden color with a reflection of green reflections. On the nose the characteristic aromas of Chardonnay such as ripe pear, white peach, lime, lime blossom, citrus and dried fruit, and because of the wood aging also complemented by refined, soft vanilla and nutty notes. Taste experience: full and fruity, with a citrusy freshness, and a nice mineral touch. This glass has a nice buttery, subtle vanilla tones, and has a pleasant spicy touch in the background.
FACT: The bottles are closed with a so-called glass cork called the Vino-Lok. This is a glass-on-glass closure, but in fact the seal is shaped by a round polymer disc that is tasteless, alcohol and acid resistant and even mimics the oxygen transfer of natural cork. This closure eliminates the risk of TCA contaminated wine (cork), has no effect on the aromas of the wine, prevents further and unwanted development of the wine after bottling and provides a stable and leak-free long-term environment for the bottled wine. Vino-Lok looks stylish, no corkscrew is needed and the bottle can be easily resealed.

Terra Tangra was established in 1999. The vineyards are located on the southwestern slopes of the Sakar Mountains and along the Maritsa River, Thracian Valley, Bulgaria.
