Marc Colin runs his Domaine together with his two sons. He owns some 17 hectares of vineyards in exclusively top appellations: Montrachet, Bâtard-Montrachet, Premier Cru vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin and Pernand-Vergelesses. This is very exceptional. Although this Domaine has always been known for its quality, Colin still sees opportunities to improve it. That is why he is receiving increasingly positive reviews in the international press. Colin's wines excel in purity and combine power with elegance. Perhaps a little shy in their youth, but with enormous storage potential.
The 2021 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Montceau is delicious, floating from the glass with aromas of citrus peel, white flowers, fresh bread, candied lemon and nutmeg and pear. Medium to full, satiny with a good texture and concentrated ending with a good tension and a long, precise finish. A top this Premier Cru from Marc Colin.
