Cloud Break Zinfandel is a powerful and beautifully concentrated fully ripe wine. The aromas that dominate are those of ripe blackberries, black cherries and plums. In the taste a pleasant freshness and finesse develops with sweet juicy tones of red and black fruit. This full red wine is excellent with various dishes.

Cloud Break comes from the cradle of American wine culture: California. The fruit comes from O'Neill Vintners and Distillers' own vineyards and from grape growers with whom long-term contracts have been concluded. Under the leadership of winemaker Mark Rasmussen, the emphasis in Cloud Break wines is on structure, fruit aromas and the use of oak without being overpowering. California has developed into a fully-fledged wine country, where 90% of American wine is produced. The wine regions in California spread across the entire state, from San Diego in the south to Mendocino in the north. New vinification techniques are used on a large scale. However, this certainly does not detract from the quality of the wine. The level of Californian wine is very consistent and of very high quality. Zinfandel is the proud grape for the red wines from California. The grape is mainly used to produce a wide range of quality wines. Under the skilled leadership of winemaker Mark Rasmussen, the Cloud Break wines are characterized by a perfect balance between structure, fruity aromas and the subtle use of oak.

The Cloud Break Chardonnay has rich fruit aromas of grapefruit and ripe tropical fruit. In the background some notes of vanilla, caramel and a hint of oak. In the mouth a smooth and rich taste with passion fruit, fine fresh elements of citrus fruit without harsh acids. Very special and temptingly delicious. This is an exceptionally elegant and very rich white wine with an invigorating fresh and attractive character. The wine has a nice butterscotch, but it is nicely balanced and not too excessive.
